Oh, What a Year it Was!
The Friends of High Point State Park had a wonderful year full of programs, some new and some old favorites. We hope you were able to join us on the mountain, but if you missed the fun take a peek at our photo galleries. The Friends of High Point State Park programs and special events would not be possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you!
We have been hard at work planning events for 2011. Our first special event of the New Year is the Winter Festival, a celebration of snow and ice at
, which will take place on Saturday, January 29. Visit our “Save the Date” page for more details on the Winter Festival and the many other family friendly programs presented by the Friends of High Point State Park. High Point State Park
Winter is a magical time on
. Snowflakes drift away from sleepy clouds and the lake ice grows thick and still, as the wind dances through the trees, skirting sunshine. However, you don’t have to crawl under a blanket and hibernate until spring. Bundle up, step outside and come see the magic for yourself. Kittatinny Mountain is open year-round. High Point State Park
