Snow Wonderful!

Snow much fun was had at the Friends of High Point State Park 2014 Winter Festival!

Thank you to everyone who braved the falling snow and joined us on the mountain on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Photos of the day are available for viewing from our photos page.

A special thank you to Dr. Randy Fitzgerald, Dr. William Thomas, and Tom Card with the New Jersey School of Conservation/Montclair State University, for their loan of snowshoes used at our Winter Festival. Your generous donation of equipment and time was much appreciated by our participants.

Lastly, thank you to all our volunteers who gave their time and talents to make the 2014 Winter Festival possible.

We are always looking for more friendly faces to add to our corps of volunteers. Join us at our spring meeting on March 1, 2014 to learn more about the Friends of High Point State Park and volunteer opportunities.

Remember, the High Point Cross Country Ski Center is open for the 2014 season. Come explore High Point State Park this winter – it is a magical wonderland of snow and ice!

See you on the mountain in 2014!
