The first special event of 2012 is our Winter Festival, a celebration of snow and ice at High Point State Park , Saturday, January 28, 12 – 3 pm, in the Interpretive Center
There will be winter themed crafts, a decorate-your-own cookie and cupcake station, hot cocoa by the fire, and more. Snowshoeing and ice-fishing demonstrations will also be offered, snow and ice conditions permitting. The event is FREE, but donations to the Friends of High Point State Park are appreciated. Snow date is Sunday Jan 29.
